Life As We Know It

What does it mean to truly live in this day and age? Living right now... could be just going through the motions of our daily lives or it could be grasping onto as many new and exciting experiences we can. For me I choose to believe life is what we make it. Each of us as individuals and as human beings have the opportunity to change whatever it is we want about ourselves and about our lives.

Some of these changes are harder than others for example... If you don't like your job go get a new one, well that isn't as easy to accomplish in our economic state. So, start out with the small  changes you can make.Go out and get the new hair cut you've been avoiding or  get a great pair of shoes to add some flare to your current wardrobe(Sometimes we need to do a little something special for ourselves). It is the little things in life that can give us the greatest changes in our happiness, confidence, and personal relationships. When we feel better about who we are and show that confidence others can see that; maybe you'll even start the newest trend.

For those who need a bigger rush or thrill to seek, start a "bucket list" and if you already have a list wipe the dust off and GO FOR IT. Take the fears you have and toss them out the window. If you have always wanted to go skydiving, salsa dancing, or maybe always wanted learn how to fly a plane now is the time. We are not promised tomorrow and should always live for today. Love the people in your life with your whole heart, smile like you haven't got a worry in the world, and believe that life can always be better and that we control how we feel.

Until next time remember that you are the captain of your life. No one controls your emotions and confidence; your life is yours. We can only control how we react to certain situations and other peoples actions (we can not control the actions of others). Be happy with yourself and leave doubt behind.

                                                                    Love,
                                                                            Rea
